Overview

Red Hat® Ansible® Lightspeed with IBM watsonx Code Assistant is a generative artificial intelligence (gen AI) service engineered to help your automation teams create, adopt, and maintain Ansible content more efficiently. Your organization can adopt automation across teams using gen AI to assist and support the automation content creation process regardless of their prior experience with Ansible.

Connected to IBM watsonx Code Assistant, Ansible Lightspeed helps users turn automation ideas into Ansible code with natural language prompts. 

What to expect

When your organization deploys Red Hat Ansible Lightspeed with IBM watsonx Code Assistant to help accelerate IT automation, you can: 

  • Boost productivity with AI-generated code recommendations that are more accurate, more reliable, and integrated into your automation developers’ existing Ansible workflows.

  • Upskill teams and reduce barriers to entry for automation code creation, empowering automation subject matter experts (SMEs) with basic coding knowledge to translate their knowledge into Ansible Playbooks.
  • Create with confidence using a large-language model trained on Ansible-specific data sets and infused with Ansible best practices.
