Major service disruptions in APAC have spotlighted the need to improve operational resilience within the financial services industry. That said, many remain fixated on a narrow view of resilience by defaulting to reactionary approaches — prioritizing recovery over proactively managing risks and enhancing reliability. True operational resilience will call on financial services firms to adopt a two-pronged approach of adopting hybrid cloud and enhancing data availability to improve their tech infrastructure’s reliability and proactively understand and manage operational risks.
