レッドハット株式会社（東京都千代田区 平野正信社長）は交流無停電電源装置を中心に事業展開するジーエス・イーイー株式会社（本社：京都府京都市南区 取締役社長：辻村 耕治）とLinux OSの特長を活かし、よりビジネス分野への普及、拡販を目指し、開発を含むISVアライアンスを締結したことを本日、明らかにした。
この問題の解決に際し、レッドハットでは、Linuxのリファレンスプロバイダーとして、日本語マルチリンガル環境を含むシングルバイナリ化を実現した「Red Hat Linux 7.1」をリリース、半年を経てエンタープライズシステムのLinuxへの移行に向けて、より強力なサーバーOS「Red Hat Linux 7.2」をリリースするに至った。これに合わせて、OSのリリースと同タイミングで動作可能なアプリケーション開発環境を提供するアライアンスプログラムの準備を図った。
GS-EEの有するUPS管理ソフトウェア「パワーバイザV3」は、多機能を持ち合わせている優れたソフトウエアである。（主な機能については下記をご参照下さい）GSEE製UPSハードウエアとの併用により、ネットワーク環境において、機能的な可能性が大幅に広がる。また「適応OSの豊富さ」もひとつの特長であると言える。充実したオプションパーツ類を併せて使う事により、ユーザーニーズに幅広く対応する事が可能である。
