'CIO 인사이트'는 매년 미국 IT 업계의 중역들을 대상으로 솔루션 도입을 통한 경비 절감 효과와 수익 증대 등과 같은 실제적인 IT 시스템 운영상의 문제 해결에 기여한 소프트웨어 업체를 선정하는 설문 조사를 실시하고 있다.
CIO인사이트가 최근 발표한 자료에 따르면, 레드햇의 솔루션은 시스템 확장ㆍ및 축소 적용이 용이하고, 사용자들은 '서브스크립션(구독: subscription) 모델'을 통해 사용한 만큼 비용을 지불할 수 있어, 투자대비효과(ROI)가 가장 높은 기업으로 꼽혔다. 특히 추가적인 시스템 도입 시에도 인적, 물적 자원을 투입하지 않고도 무리 없이 구동할 수 있는 점이 장점으로 꼽혔다.
