A DreamWorks Animation se beneficia totalmente das funcionalidades que o pacote Cloud Foundations oferece. Um dos pontos principais da solução é o Messaging, Real-time, Grid (MRG) - um dos softwares primários que compõem a arquitetura da Cloud Foundations. O MRG oferece uma plataforma avançada para administrar ambientes de computadores de alta performance.

A Red Hat apresentou a linha Cloud Foundations em junho de 2010 durante o Red Hat Summit, em Boston.
