Why we use the Open Communication Tool

At some point or another, all Red Hatters have seen a communication and thought, "What is this, and why is it important?" That’s because communicating clearly and effectively is hard, especially in an open organization. And that’s a problem, not only because associates end up feeling overwhelmed with communications, but also because poor communication makes it harder for our culture to flourish.

That’s why all of us Red Hatters, from the most expert communicators to an associate tasked with sending an announce-list email, have a responsibility to be more thoughtful about how we’re engaging with our fellow associates.
