レッドハット株式会社（本社：東京都渋谷区、代表取締役社長：廣川 裕司）は本日、執行役員 OEM営業本部長として古舘正清（ふるだて まさきよ）氏を任命したことを発表いたします。古舘氏は過去27年に渡り日本アイ・ビー・エム株式会社およびマイクロソフト株式会社の営業部門で活躍し、マネジメントにも携わってきました。今後、レッドハット株式会社において日本に本社を置くRed Hat, Inc.のグローバルOEMパートナー様である富士通株式会社、株式会社日立製作所、NEC、また同三社の海外を含めた関連会社との協業ビジネスを統括します。
古舘氏は日本アイ・ビー・エム株式会社に21年間勤務し、同社のゼネラルビジネス事業、テクノロジー事業、PCサーバ事業及びLinuxビジネスなど幅広い分野で活躍しました。また、Linuxビジネスにおいては同社における日本でのLinuxビジネスの立上げにも貢献しました。前職のマイクロソフト株式会社においては業務執行役員 ジャパングローバルパートナー営業本部長として、富士通株式会社、株式会社日立製作所、NECとの戦略的ソリューションパートナーシップの構築および強化をして参りました。
