Con l'apertura di due nuove aule - una a Roma e una a Milano - Red Hat, Inc. (Nasdaq: RHAT), leader mondiale nella fornitura di soluzioni open source per l'enterprise, intensifica le proprie attivita' di training. Obiettivo dell'azienda e' quello di poter proporre ai clienti una rete di partner ancora piu' professionale e preparata, che disponga di tutte le competenze necessarie per poter supportare al meglio - in termini tecnici e di consulenza - il crescente numero di aziende che si rivolgono al leader del settore dell'open source.
Continua a essere questo uno degli obiettivi di Gianni Anguilletti, Country Sales Manager per l'Italia, che per questo tipo di attivita' si avvale della collaborazione di Antonio Leo e Robert Loos, i due Channel Manager della filiale italiana.
Puntare su un canale qualificato rappresenta una priorita' assoluta per l'azienda", ha dichiarato Anguilletti. "I partner che dispongono di personale certificato e preparato, svolgono un ruolo chiave nella creazione di soluzioni basate sulle tecnologie Red Hat. Oggi piu' che mai, con l'acquisizione di JBoss, il loro contributo diventa un fondamentale fattore di successo".
Si amplia anche la gamma dei corsi che vede nuovi training specifici su JBoss andare ad affiancare il programma di certificazione tradizionale che si articola nei percorsi RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) e RHCA (Red Hat Certified Architect). Nel corso del 2007, Red Hat ha raggiunto quota 25.000 certificazioni RHCE nel mondo e ha varato servizi di training e consulenza focalizzati sulla virtualizzazione, oltre a un programma specifico sulla virtualizzazione per RHEL 5. Una promozione speciale e' attualmente dedicata ai possessori di una certificazione RHCE scaduta, che potranno attualizzare la propria qualifica a condizioni particolari.
Anche i corsi su JBoss sono stati rivisitati e potenziati, per rispondere a una richiesta del mercato in continuo aumento. Sia la struttura dei corsi che la relativa manualistica sono state estese ed aggiornate.
Oltre alle aule delle filiali di Roma e Milano, Red Hat dispone di un unico partner training centre che e' situato presso BC Engineering in Sicilia e l'intenzione e' quella di ingaggiare i partner piu' competenti per coinvolgerli con le loro risorse in training on site in zone che Red Hat direttamente non raggiunge, oppure presso le aule nelle sedi, ma utilizzando istruttori forniti dai partner certificati da Red Hat.
